The nxV1200 audio amplifier module


The nxV1200 audio amplifier module is Holton Precision Audio's flagship design, boasting 1200 watts RMS continuous into 4 Ohm's and 700 watts RMS continuous into 8 Ohm's. In Bridge Mode this amplifier is capable of over 2000 watts RMS into 8 Ohm's, more than enough to drive any loudspeaker you care to mention. The HPA-nxV1200 has 16 high performance Toshiba MOSFET's in it's output stage, making it a very rugged and almost unburstable output stage.
The HPA-nxV1200 module is based on a Grounded Bridge Topology.
This type of topology greatly reduces the total power dissapation that the output stage would normally see and allows the amplifier to deliver very high power outputs into low impedance loads with very even distribution of power across the output stage with very low distortion and noise.
For an amplifier so powerful the sound quality is stunning and is in league with the HPA-nxV500 amplifier module.
The Printed Circuit Board is a double sided plated through hole and SMD extra heavy duty 3 ounce copper foil with Gold emersion plating and the layout includes a low noise ground plane on the underside of the PCB.
The nxV1200 can be supplied pre-mounted onto a Conrad MF35-151.5 heat sink, also we do offer the nxV1200 as a complete Retail Stereo amplifier, please email for more information and pricing.
